Ohio Society Cornhole Tournament
Join the Ohio Society at the Carving Room on Wednesday, May 4 at 6:30pm for a Cornhole Tournament to benefit Operation Buckeye and their important mission supporting Ohio service members overseas! Entry fee is $10 per person and all money raised and any extra donations at the tournament will benefit Operation Buckeye.
Ohio Society members will receive one free drink, and the winning team will receive a pitcher of their favorite beverage served in the inaugural “Ohio Cup”! Click here for more details and to sign up.
OSUDC Softball Team
It’s softball time! Our 2016 season of Capital Alumni Network softball just kicked off this week. Want to join us? We are looking for men and women players, and we’re also looking for help in managing the team. Email Jeff at athletics@osudc.org for more information.
John Glenn Washington Academic Internship Program Outreach
The John Glenn Washington Academic Internship Program (WAIP) is looking for mentors and possible internship opportunities in Washington, DC. The Program is expanding into the international agency fields, and environmental policy areas. Without the support of local alumni, this program would not be as strong as it is.
This summer, WAIP will be hosting its largest class of fellows. We need your help with mentors. Area of interests for this class of fellows are:
- Agriculture, sustainable food, school lunch program
- Criminal justice
- International (education, policy, justice, etc.)
- Budget/finance in the public sector
- Think tank/research
- Labor policy/pro-union policy
- Environment and sustainability
- Government affairs
- Defense/security/intelligence

Host Football Gamewatches
Help us run football gamewatches this fall! Join the Gamewatch Committee and help run our halftime raffles. We’re able to award 3 scholarships to DC, MD, and VA students to attend Ohio State thanks in large part to the money we raise during football season at each of our official gamewatch locations.
