B1G Night at Nats Park
Last call for baseball! Big Ten Night at Nats Park is on Tuesday, June 14, when the Nationals take on the Chicago Cubs, with alumni from all 14 B1G schools in center field!

Tickets are $24 plus fees and are exclusively available to purchase from the Nationals website. Deadline to purchase tickets is noon tomorrow, Friday, June 10! Click here for details and to purchase tickets.


Adopt-A-Highway
OSUDC has service events in Fairfax County for Adopt-A-Highway throughout the year! We meet in Burke, VA at 9am on the pickup date. Upcoming dates:

WCSA’s 7th Annual Leadership Conference

The Women’s Congressional Staff Association (WCSA) hosts an annual career development conference. This year’s conference is called “Chart Your Course” and will focus on effective management skills and lessons women can learn from senior Congressioanl staffers. Speakers include Republican and Democratic female leaders from Capitol Hill, and representatives from both the non-profit and private sectors. Whether you already work in Congress or are looking to make the leap to the Hill, this event is perfect for anyone looking to advance their career in government affairs and public policy. John Glenn Washington Academic Internship Program Outreach
The John Glenn Washington Academic Internship Program (WAIP) is looking for mentors and possible internship opportunities in Washington, DC. The Program is expanding into the international agency fields, and environmental policy areas. Without the support of local alumni, this program would not be as strong as it is.

This summer, WAIP is hosting its largest class of fellows. We need your help with mentors.  Area of interests for this class of fellows are:

  • Agriculture, sustainable food, school lunch program
  • Criminal justice
  • International (education, policy, justice, etc.)
  • Budget/finance in the public sector
  • Think tank/research
  • Labor policy/pro-union policy
  • Environment and sustainability
  • Government affairs
  • Defense/security/intelligence

Host Football Gamewatches

Help us run football gamewatches this fall! Join the Gamewatch Committee and help run our halftime raffles. We’re able to award 3 scholarships to DC, MD, and VA students to attend Ohio State thanks in large part to the money we raise during football season at each of our official gamewatch locations.
