THIS WEEKEND: Baker’s Man Film Event and Annual Meeting & Spring Reception
This Saturday and Sunday, June 3 and 4, 2-time Ohio State alum and National Champion football player Maurice Hall joins OSUDC for 2 great events!
Tomorrow, June 3, at 10am, Maurice Hall brings his film “Baker’s Man” to DC for anexclusive, private matinee screening at Atlantic Plumbing Cinema in DC! (807 V Street NW, between 8th & 9th – yellow/green metro to Shaw or U Street)
Have you ever had questions about how a movie like this actually gets made? Get a peek behind the scenes with a Q&A with the writer, director, and star himself immediately following the screening!
Tickets to this event are available in advance or at the door (look for the OSUDC table in the lobby) and cost $20 for OSUDC members, $25 for non-members.
This Sunday, June 4, at 4pm is our Annual Meeting and Spring Reception at Parlay Sports Bar & Lounge. (1827 M Street NW, red metro to Farragut North/Dupont, or blue /orange metro to Farragut West) This is our biggest club event of the year and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine, great raffle prizes, silent and live auctions for our club football tickets, and special guest speaker Maurice Hall!

We’re also thrilled to present our 2017 scholarship recipients and their families. Tickets to this event are available in advance and at the door for $50 for OSUDC members, $70 for non-members (non-member price includes your 2017-2018 membership).

Maurice attended The Ohio State University where he was a member of the National Championship Football Team in 2002. Maurice scored the game winning touchdowns against The University of Illinois and the University of Michigan in the National Championship season. Maurice graduated from OSU with a degree in Strategic Communications and a Masters degree in Sports Administration.
