2017 Game Day Partners

BREAKING NEWS! We are thrilled to announce our 5 official game day partners for the 2017 football season:

We’re happy to be back at Solly’s U Street Tavern in DC, Crystal City Sports Pub in Arlington, and Ten Spot Kitchen & Tap in Leesburg!

We’re returning to Parlay DC Sports Bar & Lounge in Dupont Circle!

And introducing our newest game day destination, Tommy Joe’s in Bethesda!

We can’t wait to see everyone to cheer on the team and raise money for our Spearman scholarship fund. The Buckeyes open the season at Indiana on Thursday, August 31. See you at the gamewatches!

Big Ten Night at Nats Park

Join fellow Big Ten alumni from across the DMV to support the conference and show your school pride at the ballpark! Show off your alumni spirit by wearing your school colors with the rest of your Big Ten friends as you share an evening of Nationals baseball as they take on the Miami Marlins next Thursday, August 10. Tickets include a B1G/Nats koozie, plus $2 of every ticket sold will go toward scholarship funds for Big Ten schools. Visit the Nationals B1G Night page to purchase tickets now! Be sure to indicate Ohio State when you purchase your tickets! (On the payment page, enter “Ohio State” in the comment field that says “Please enter your B1G Alumni group below.”)

Welcome New Alumni!

Join fellow alumni in greeting recent graduates, introducing them to Washington DC, and showing them all the ways they can stay connected to Ohio State.

The New Buckeyes, New City event will be held at Carmine’s in Penn Quarter on Wednesday, August 23 from 6-8pm. Appetizers will be served, and each guest gets one complimentary drink ticket.

We’ll also be recognizing one to two Rising Buckeyes. This is a special recognition of alumni making an astounding impact and doing great things in our community.

Gamewatch Happy Hour – Save the date!

Our Gamewatch Happy Hour will be at Solly’son Thursday, August 24! Learn more about our 5 great gamewatch partners for the 2017 football season, and help us host the best Buckeye football game days outside of Columbus while we raise money for our scholarship fund! OSUDC Softball
Our 2017 season of Capital Alumni Network softball is under way, and we want YOU! For more information, to join us this season, or if you’re interested in playing football this fall, email Jeff at athletics@osudc.org. Go Bucks!

OSUDC has service events in Fairfax County for Adopt-A-Highway throughout the year!

We will meet at the McDonald’s at the intersection of Lee Chapel Rd. and Old Keene Mill Rd. in Burke, VA at 9am on Saturday, September 2. The pickup is cancelled in the event of rain. Please contact Phil Gbur if you have any questions.
