Pre-Order your OSU @ Maryland Football Tickets NOW!

The Buckeyes are coming to the University of Maryland to take on the Terrapins in College Park on Saturday, November 17. We have secured 2 blocks of tickets on the visitor sideline, one in the lower level, and one in the upper level of the stadium. Each ticket purchased includes a $10 donation to our Spearman Scholarship Fund. Pre-ordering your Maryland football tickets through OSUDC is the only way to guarantee you are seated with Buckeye alumni and fans for the game. All sales are final. Tickets will be mailed to the address indicated on PayPal, please include a note for the OSUDC treasurer Melissa Harto if tickets should be sent to a different address. Please email Melissa Harto with any questions.

Tickets must be purchased by Sunday, July 22 to guarantee tickets within the OSUDC blocks.

Summer Picnic & Student Send-Off

Our annual Summer Picnic & Student Send-Off is coming up on Sunday, July 22, from 4pm-6pm at Rock Creek Park Picnic Area 1. Welcome the next generation of Buckeyes to the family! Join fellow alumni to advise incoming students about lessons learned from our experiences at Ohio State and introduce them to scarlet and gray traditions. Register for free on our website!

BTN All-Star Happy Hour

Big Ten Network invites Ohio State alumni to join them for complimentary drinks and appetizers on Monday, July 16 at Due South for a special BTN alumni event! From BTN:

With our counterparts at FOX Sports in town to broadcast the Major League Baseball All-Star game, we couldn’t think of a better time to get everyone together.

MLB Hall of Famer Dave Winfield is expected to appear between 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. for a meet and greet and photographs (no autographs). Tickets to that evening’s Home Run Derby, as well as the MLB All-Star Game televised on FOX (7/17), will also be raffled off.

The doors will open at 5 p.m. and the event will run through 9 p.m. BTN looks forward to seeing you in Washington, D.C.!

OSUDC has service events in Fairfax County for Adopt-A-Highway throughout the year!

We meet at the McDonald’s at the intersection of Lee Chapel Rd. and Old Keene Mill Rd. in Burke, VA at 9:00am on Saturday, July 21. The pickup is cancelled in the event of rain. Please contact Phil Gbur if you have any questions.

Ohio State Alumni Flag Football

Did you take classes with J. Brooks Breeden, FASLA Emeritus, a professor of Landscape Architecture in the Knowlton School of Architecture at OSU for 31 years (1974-2005)? When he retired in 2005, he and his wife, Peggy Breeden, relocated to Springfield, VA. He passed away in 2012, and she would love to connect with his former students.
