Community Assistance Opportunities During the COVID-19 Pandemic

We are sad to have had to cancel all of our in-person events and activities at this time, but we know Buckeyes are always looking for ways to help others and serve our community. While we socially distance ourselves, our DC-area community is even more obviously split into much smaller communities. If you are in need of assistance, including food delivery/household errands, please submit a comment on our Facebook event page.

Visit our website for ways to contribute in your immediate community and around the region, including Nextdoor Help Map, mutual aid groups, and community organizations we have partnered with in the past.

Stay tuned to this space, as well as our social media pages: we are working to bring remote events to you soon! Hang in there, Buckeyes. And wash your hands!

Looking for a way to get more involved? The OSUDC Board has several at-large openings! Self nominations are preferred. Please click here to download the nomination form.

RENEW OR JOIN OSUDC

Beginning on January 1, 2020, the OSUDC membership year now runs on the calendar year from January 1 – December 31. For $25, you are a member of OSUDC; for $75+, you are a member of OSUDC and a  sustaining member of OSUAA, which makes you eligible for OSUAA benefits such as football tickets. Membership dues are tax deductible contributions to our OSUAA current use fund that makes programming available to area alumni. Dues can be paid at one time, or you can set up recurring payments.

We offer two ways to become a member:

Option 1) Yearly membership to Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. | Join now

If you simply want to join the Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. you can do so for a modest donation of $25 per year. This option is open to both Ohio State alumni and Ohio State fans.

Option 2) Yearly sustaining membership to OSUAA + Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. | Join now

Becoming a sustaining member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association requires a yearly donation of $75 (which makes alumni eligible for football tickets and other great benefits). By allocating a yearly donation of $75 or more to the Alumni Club of Washington, D.C., you will get access to OSUAA benefits and Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. incentives. If you have any questions, please contact our membership chair, Kennedy Kowalski, at membership@osudc.org, or our treasurer, Melissa Harto, at treasurer@osudc.org.

Attention Engineering Alumni!

You may remember seeing the “Where I Live: Washington, D.C.” feature in a recent issue of the OSUAA Magazine. Now, you can help the COE advancement team create a city guide for DC to be shared with future Engineering graduates who move here. This survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. Thank you for sharing your resources and tips!
