OSUDC’s Spearman Scholarship is awarded to incoming first-year students from DC, MD, and VA. If the student you know lives somewhere else, please still share this link: it has information on the Alumni Scholars Program from Ohio State Alumni Clubs across the nation! Questions? Our Buckeye Game Day raffles are one of our biggest scholarship fundraisers every year. In lieu of in-person Game Day events, we have a Football Squares fundraiser for every 2020 Buckeye football game! Winners receive a $50 gift card. For the Illinois game on Saturday, November 28, enter the game and choose your squares here. Payment must be submitted to OSUDC within 1 hour of selecting your squares. Please click here for the complete rules and information for our 2020 scholarship fundraiser.
For just $30, get our new Buckeye Tailgate Favorites Cookbook PLUS 10 Squares for the Illinois game! Choose your squares here. Please include your email address with your payment in order to receive your cookbook.
Buckeye Game Day 2020 Update
In June 2020, OSUDC voted to not host in-person Game Day events this year.
While OSUDC is not hosting official game watch parties this season, all of our OSUDC Partner Bars will be featuring the Buckeyes games all season starting October 24 with sound on. If you are in the neighborhood, please consider supporting these local businesses by ordering carry-out or delivery. Don’t miss the great special offers for Buckeye fans! You can find detailed information on all six of our partner bars throughout the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area on our Buckeye Game Day page.
Should Ohio State fans choose to attend one of our bars in person to watch Buckeye football, please note the COVID protocols in place at our respective bars, listed on our Buckeye Game Day page.

Ohio State University PhD recipient, Dr. Pamela Nadell, will be speaking about her book, America’s Jewish Women: a history from colonial times to today on Monday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m. The Montgomery County Public Library will be hosting this free presentation on Zoom.

Dr. Pamela Nadell will present a lecture based on her book “America’s Jewish Women: A History from Colonial Times to Today”
In this groundbreaking history, Pamela Nadell asks what does it mean to be a Jewish woman in America? Weaving together stories from the colonial era’s matriarch, Grace Nathan, and her great-granddaughter poet, Emma Lazarus, to union organizer, Bessie Hillman and the great justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Nadell shows two threads binding the nation’s Jewish women: a strong sense of self and a resolute commitment to making the world a better place. Informed by the shared values of America’s founding and Jewish identity, America’s Jewish women – the well-known and the scores of activists, workers, wives and mothers whose names linger on among their communities and families – left deep footprints in the history of the nation they call home.

For $25, you are a member of OSUDC; for $75+, you are a member of OSUDC and a sustaining member of OSUAA, which makes you eligible for OSUAA benefits such as football tickets. Membership dues are tax deductible contributions to our OSUAA current use fund that makes programming available to area alumni. Dues can be paid at one time, or you can set up recurring payments.
We offer two ways to become a member:
Option 1) Yearly membership to Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. | Join now
If you simply want to join the Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. you can do so for a modest donation of $25 per year. This option is open to both Ohio State alumni and Ohio State fans.
Option 2) Yearly sustaining membership to OSUAA + Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. | Join now
Becoming a sustaining member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association requires a yearly donation of $75 (which makes alumni eligible for football tickets and other great benefits).
