Buckeye Game Day 2021

All of our OSUDC partner bars are back and ready to serve you in-person this season! OSUDC continues to monitor how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the greater DMV area and reserves the right to revert our in-person events back to virtual events at any time.

The Penn State game tomorrow, Saturday, October 30, will kick off at 7:30pm.

Due to capacity concerns with multiple Halloween Bar Crawls taking place in D.C. this weekend, we will not be staffing Blackfinn D.C. on Saturday. We will be at our four other locations, including at Solly’s in D.C., but Blackfinn D.C. will not be a staffed location this week. We will be back at all five locations next week for the game against Nebraska. OSUDC apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

As you make your way back to our partner bars, please be kind to staff and tip them well! Returning to in-person events is a group effort, so please be understanding and patient with staff at our partner bars as they work to serve you every week. Masks are highly encouraged and in some places, are required. For more information, please refer to the full COVID protocols of each Game Day partner located on our website.

To volunteer for our Game Day committee, submit your availability here. Questions? Email Melissa Wasser: gameday@osudc.org

Squares are back!

While our Buckeye Game Day events are back in 2021, we recognize that many Buckeyes are continuing to limit in-person indoor events. We are excited to continue our Football Squares fundraiser for every remaining 2021 Buckeye football game! One grand prize: a $50 gift card (winner chooses where). Squares are $5 each or 5 for $20. For the Penn State game on Saturday, October 30, enter the game and choose your squares here: https://bit.ly/BeatPennState

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!

We are looking for a few more volunteers for Buckeye Game Days! Are you interested in joining our game day committee? We can especially use your help Saturday, November 27, at Blackfinn DCEmail Melissa for more information.

RENEW OR JOIN OSUDC

The OSUDC membership year now runs on the calendar year from January 1 – December 31. For $25, you are a member of OSUDC; for $75+, you are a member of OSUDC and a sustaining member of OSUAA, which makes you eligible for OSUAA benefits such as football tickets. Membership dues are tax deductible contributions to our OSUAA current use fund that makes programming available to area alumni. Dues can be paid at one time, or you can set up recurring payments.

We offer two ways to become a member:

Option 1) Yearly Membership to Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. | Join now

If you simply want to join the Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. you can do so for a modest donation of $25 per year. This option is open to both Ohio State alumni and Ohio State fans.

Option 2) Yearly sustaining membership to OSUAA + Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. | Join now

Becoming a sustaining member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association requires a yearly donation of $75 (which makes alumni eligible for football tickets and other great benefits). By allocating a yearly donation of $75 or more to the Alumni Club of Washington, D.C., you will get access to OSUAA benefits and Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. incentives. If you have any questions, please contact our membership chair, Alex Temple, at membership@osudc.org, or our treasurer, Melissa Harto, at treasurer@osudc.org.
