Big Ten Fun Run
Join OSUDC for the first (hopefully annual) Big Ten Fun Run! Come to Salt Line DC TOMORROW, April 30, for a 10:30am fun run with participants from all of the Big Ten alumni clubs in the area. With enough interest we hope to eventually lure an official Big Ten Network 10k out here in DC! There will be a bag watch, but the fun run is self-timed. Stick around for socializing at Salt Line afterwards! Feel free to do as much of the run as you’d like. One lap is 5k and two is a full 10k. Come cheer on your school and see who the fastest Big Ten alumni chapter is in DC!
You can see the route below (click on it for a direct link to it).
Please sign up here to get updates. (Sign up is not mandatory)
Our very own Melissa Wasser, OSUDC’s Vice President and Game Day Coordinator, just celebrated a milestone birthday! To celebrate, she’s raising money for our Spearman Scholarship Fund, as well as scholarships for the Moritz College of Law. Check out her Buckeye Funder here and make your gift today!
B1G Night at the Nats
Join Big Ten students, alumni, and fans as they represent the Big Ten Conference by wearing school colors at Nationals Park when the Nats host the Cubs on August 15 at 7:05 PM!
With the purchase of a special ticket, fans will receive an $8 concession credit.
OSUDC has service events in Fairfax County for Adopt-A-Highway throughout the year!
We meet at the McDonald’s at the intersection of Lee Chapel Rd. and Old Keene Mill Rd. in Burke, VA at 9:00am on the pickup date. The pickup is cancelled in the event of rain. Please contact Phil Gbur if you have any questions.
Please note that this is an age 18+ years event, per DMV safety rules. Events may be canceled/rescheduled due to COVID-19 restrictions, this event will be updated if and when that happens.
