Big Ten Summer Event

Don’t miss the B1GGEST event of the summer! Join your fellow Buckeyes and other Big Ten School alumni from local DMV chapters at our summer event and school supply drive TOMORROW! Please join us in giving back to the community by bringing new school supplies to be donated to a local elementary school to help students in need this school year! For each donation you bring, you will be entered into the drawing for a $50 gift card to the Brig! Donations could include (but not limited to): pencils, pens, crayons, kids’ scissors, notebooks, post-it notes, backpacks, kids’ books, and more! Find more details here.

Black Alumni Charity Golf Invitational

The Ohio State University Black Alumni Society will host its Inaugural Charity Golf Invitational at New Albany Links Golf Course in New Albany, OH on Friday, September 2, 2022. The invitational is a 4-person team scramble and proceeds from this event will benefit the Black Alumni Society Fund and Scholarship Endowment. Join OSUDC as the Ohio State Buckeyes visit the Maryland Terrapins this season on Saturday, November 19, 2022. OSUDC acquired a block of tickets for the football game, and each ticket includes a $5 donation to OSUDC’s Spearman Scholarship Fund. Click here to purchase tickets in our sections directly from the University of Maryland.

Tailgate
The OSUDC pre-game tailgate will take place in the C1 lot before the game with a menu provided by OSUDC Game Day partner Blackfinn Ameripub. Click here to register now. See below for parking information.


Ticket Pricing
Upper level tickets cost $77.99(including fees). Seats are located in the upper level, sections 302 and 303 on the north side of the stadium.

Lower level tickets cost $101.14 (including fees). Seats are located in the lower level, between sections 3, 202, and 203. A football seating chart for all sections is available here.

Time
The game time is TBD, Saturday, November 19th. A game time will likely be released one week before the game.

Metro
The nearest metro is College Park (green/yellow). The metro station is a distance from the football stadium, but there are Metrobus and University shuttles from the stadium. 

Parking
The OSUDC pre-game tailgate will take place in the C1 lot before the game with a menu provided by OSUDC Game Day partner Blackfinn Ameripub.

OSUDC Alumni Sports

Are you looking for a fun way to socialize and exercise? OSUDC sports has two upcoming opportunities to do exactly that! Fall Flag Football is right around the corner and will begin playing in September. Volleyball will begin shortly afterwards. If you are interested in playing in either league, please email Renita for more information.

Both leagues will be co-ed and accessible to all levels of experience. We look forward to playing together on the field!

OSUDC has service events in Fairfax County for Adopt-A-Highway throughout the year!

We meet at the McDonald’s at the intersection of Lee Chapel Rd. and Old Keene Mill Rd. in Burke, VA at 9:00am on the pickup date. The pickup is cancelled in the event of rain. Please contact Phil Gbur if you have any questions.

Please note that this is an age 18+ years event, per DMV safety rules. Events may be canceled/rescheduled due to COVID-19 restrictions, this event will be updated if and when that happens.

We are thrilled to share that The Ohio State Alumni Club of Greater Washington, DC was recognized as The Ohio State University Alumni Association’s 2021 Club of the Year! Thank you to all of the Buckeye alumni and friends who joined us for virtual event programming throughout the 2020-2021 year.

Our Virtual Beer Tasting event in partnership with Great Lakes Brewing Company was also awarded Innovative Program of the Year!
