We ended up with over 2,200 Buckeye alumni, fans, and friends registered for this event – and a fantastic turnout! Thanks to you, we raised just under $9,800 for the Spearman Scholarship Fund on this day alone! We could not have done that without the dedication of our Tailgate Committee volunteers, support from our fellow Ohio State Alumni Clubs and Societies, and from The Ohio State University Alumni Association, and of course the time and financial contributions from everyone who attended.

We’d like to thank OSUDC Board Member Kenneth Blacks and Cody Bahn for taking photos for us this year! You can find and download photos from THE East Coast Tailgate 2022 here and here.
The OSUDC Scholarship Challenge is on!
This year, OSUDC is the only alumni club selected to participate in the Scholarship Challenge, a grassroots fundraising effort led by Ohio State’s First Lady, Veronica Meinhard. Our goal is to raise $30,000 for the Spearman Scholarship Fund. We annually award scholarships to Washington, DC area students – DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia – to help offset their first year costs at Ohio State.

We are proud and grateful to participate in this year’s Scholarship Challenge. We cannot reach our ambitious goal without you. Every gift counts, and with your support, we will be able to increase the scholarships available for Washington, DC area students to attend Ohio State.
