Help us raise money for Food & Friends by buying Thanksgiving pies! Visit the OSUDC Slice of Life page to purchase your pies (by Thursday, November 21) and choose your pickup locations. Pies must be picked up at the location you select only on Tuesday, November 26!
When you purchase your Thanksgiving pie from Food & Friends, you contribute to every step that goes into providing one full day of meals for our neighbors living with critical illnesses.

This Thanksgiving, OSUDC has taken on the challenge of selling pies to benefit Food & Friends, a nonprofit organization in the community that we have partnered with for service events in the past. Please support our efforts by purchasing a holiday pie that will warm your heart and help our neighbors living with serious illnesses.
Six days a week, Food & Friends home-delivers nutritious meals to thousands of people in our community who are too sick to shop for groceries and prepare meals. Your support helps Food & Friends deliver nearly 3,000 meals a day to our neighbors living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses free of charge. Each pie you purchase will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for one client battling a serious illness. PIE FACTS
What’s Thanksgiving without pie? Now in its 13th year, Slice of Life has become a tradition in the Washington region. During this holiday season, Pie Teams and Pie Sellers, hundreds of volunteers and community members, will come together to ensure that our neighbors facing serious illnesses enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving meal complete with two delicious pies.
PIE FLAVORS
This year, thanks to our local Pie Baker, Baguette Republic, we are offering five incredible pies:
Homemade Apple Pie – $28
Perfectly flaky with just the right amount of sweetness. You’ll enjoy this classic pie filled with a bounty of apples, spices and topped with sweet crumbles. Whether you serve your pie alone or à la mode, it’s a must have.
Spiced Pumpkin Pie – $28
Thanksgiving would not be complete without this traditional favorite. The creamy filling, in a delectable crust, has the perfect mix of spices and great pumpkin flavor.
Oh So Sweet Potato Pie – $28
This old fashioned treat filled with creamy sweet potato, brown sugar and cinnamon will be a beautiful addition to your holiday table.
Nutty Pecan Pie – $38
Embrace true hospitality by sharing this Southern treat with your holiday guests. Y’all will love the delicious buttery crust overflowing with pecans. With the consistency of a pecan torte, the delectable dessert tastes even better warm.

Pie Ingredients
PIE SIZE, PACKAGING & PICK-UP
All pies are 9″ rounds and packaged in a sturdy, gift-quality box. As you order your pies, you will select from one of our pie pickup locations. Your pies will be available at this location, and ONLY this location, on Tuesday, November 26th between 12:00pm – 8:00pm. Upon receipt, please immediately refrigerate your pies.
TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
The fair market value for the purchase of one of our pies is $10.00. Pies purchased for a Food & Friends client are 100% tax deductible. A receipt for tax purposes will be emailed to you after your purchase.
